In this Fridays video, it talks about how looking at the boiler jacket could tell you how the boiler works. The following are 4 different pictures with four different issues. The video posts on Friday at 6am. In the meantime, have a go at troubleshooting the boiler issues

    If I were a betting man, I'd say that second one is definitely exhibiting leaking sections(.jpg)!

    #1 Peerless blocked flue section sooted up

    #2 Weil McLain low flue gas temp condensation from clean out covers.

    #3 Pilot too big, flame roll out, heat exchanger plugged with soot

    #4 Dirty HX and flue

    2 pretty sure someone stood on

    3 is a leak on the fire side between sections

    4 is condensation.
