I have a 1.25 cast iron radiator. I bought a new one, and it is only 1", so the nut is too small and requires a 1". Do they have a reducer, I see there is one in the other room, but it is from 30 years ago, or do I need to replace the shutoff value and radiator connectors to meet the 1"?

if you can move the radiator a couple inches you can use an ordinary reducer or bushing

Remember that the spud in the radiator and the valve are matching halves of a union. You can pull the spud (if you are lucky) and put a threaded adapter in the radiator and install the spud in the adapter. Or get a new valve and its matching spud which are the needed size, pull the old spud and put in the new one…
is this for steam or hot water?
You may be able to take that radiator to a machine shop and drill the hole larger and tap it for 1-1/4" pipe. What shape is the valve and Spud from the old radiator in? It might be easier to just get a new 1" Radiator valve and a reducing 90° elbow

@TeveTensen Im not sure if this will help. Pictured here are three choices. You might need a nipple with one of these depending on what best applies to you. They are all available.
That is a inch and a quarter female, by one inch male, black malleable reducing coupling.
Come to think of it. I have seen it called both.

I don't know. Them or Ward. I usually don't look at the brand unless it comes in the manufacturers box. Or I'm suspect of the threads coming from some off brand thread.
Found the picture on supplyhouse.com. It's a 1-1/4 extension (Blufin). I think the steel one from buyfittingsonline is the only one out there.
