UPS for electric heater

Need an uninterruptible power supply for 1500W to 2000W electric heater. We have frequent power outages that can last many hours and heater will not automatically restart when power is restored. Recommendations?

You might get a couple hours out of this. Keep in mind most of these batteries need to be replaced regularly as well. If the price doesn't scare you then call up a couple of these companies

If you look at the equipment the top one is a darker color, not green at all, the other one has just a little green on it. not enough to qualify for a subsidy I'm afraid :(

The start up delay of the Gen Set may still cause the lockout issue.

Does the heater have a remote start up capability that could be utilized to wake it up after a power outage restoration ?

A UPS of that capacity is expensive and you may have to add additional batteries to extend the run time you want. And the batteries only last 3 - 4 years if they are the gel cell type. Maybe more cost effective to get another heater with the correct features, if an inexpensive remote start device can't be added.
