Radiator with a single pipe

PXL_20241221_064538700.jpg

I saw a video about Honeywell's Unique Valve, but not sure how this works. There's only one pipe coming out of the floor. Does it have an inner pipe, or essentially two pipes inside? Does it alternate being an inlet and outlet pipe?

It looks like you have one pipe steam. The unique valve was for gravity hot water systems I believe. Does that radiator (gorgeous by the way) have an air vent on it? Mad Dog

Better yet, what is your goal here? Mad Dog

    Hello octav,

Your picture is most likely a 'One Pipe' system, steam flows in and the condensate (water) flows out at the same time in the same pipe. Just like cars on the same street can travel both ways.
