It looks like you have one pipe steam. The unique valve was for gravity hot water systems I believe. Does that radiator (gorgeous by the way) have an air vent on it? Mad Dog

Hello octav,
Your picture is most likely a 'One Pipe' system, steam flows in and the condensate (water) flows out at the same time in the same pipe. Just like cars on the same street can travel both ways.
