Reduce hissing when steam radiator vents release air

is there a way to reduce the hissing for steam radiator vents? I just reduced the pressure today on my resideo pressure gauge. It was set to 3PSI, I set it to 1psi. The hissing to release the air is a still a bit loud.
Really would like some help. I am willing to spend the time to fix it up

Do you have main vents?
Did you check the white dial inside the Pressuretrol? (assuming you have the little gray box (additive) Pressuretrol
