Power vented oil boiler exhaust system question
Actually two questions. 1- Can a power vented oil boiler exhaust system be changed to a conventional flue system? The power vent system is causing a fume issue and we would like to know if it can be vented up the side of the house to above the roofline? 2- If not is there a in-line booster fan to achieve this?

we really need to make and model number of the equipment you have.
All that information is in the installation and operation manual

This. If you have a conventional boiler, meaning it can be vented either why, then yes it can be vented through a chimney. Of course the power venter would need to be removed, if that's not obvious. Off the top of my head I cant think of any oil fired boiler that are not designed to be vented through a chimney flue except the Buderus condensing boiler.

sorry it’s a PurePro model BF5 with a Riello burner

So its not a Power Vent, its a Direct Vent.
Still, as mentioned, see what PurePro has to say on the matter.
