Are there any wholesalers with a classroom in your area?

I am looking for locations to host my boiler classes, Troubleshooting Steam and Troubleshooting Hydronics, and would rather hold them in a wholesaler's building than a hotel room. If you know of any supply houses that could seat 20 or more, let me know the contact and location. It's a win win for the supply house and myself. Thanks for the help.

Ive been to some wholesalers that bring tables and chairs into their warehouse after hours depending when they have large attendance expected. Smaller office space would be used when fewer attendees have signed up. FWWEBB has done this.

I would think any Supply house would see the advantage of having you and offer there building in some way.

So does R.E.Michel at their Glen Burnie, MD headquarters. I don't know anyone down there though.

    Ray,

Not sure what your travel radius is like, but I did catch one of your classes years ago in Buffalo or Batavia…. Meier Supply in Rochester NY has a training room that would hold more than twenty, maybe 30-40…. Let me know if you’re interested and I can get you a couple contacts.

Webb has a lot of newer larger supply houses (as much as I dislike Webb) they are probably your best shot at least in the North East

Thank you everyone I am trying to transition into more teaching as I enjoy doing so. I will be putting together a training schedule in the next few weeks

Any wholesaler that wants your training will make a space for you

Although a conference room at a nearby hotel can be more appropriate, especially if you need a screen for the presentation. And clean bathrooms😯

some grocery chains have meeting rooms, Cabelas and Bass Pro are other good options

Also reach out to the hydronic and steam reps, they are always looking for presenters

We typically have food brought in to the room., and try to shop with a local mom and pop sandwich shop.

At wholesalers I have done trainings in the warehouse, parking lot, lunchroom, storage mezzanine. Whatever it takes :)

It's a bonus when the supplier has a training room with hands on equipment to demo and use for examples. Quite a few do.

Union halls are another great location, they have nice training rooms, generally.
