Getting daikin to replace unit

1 yr old daikin miniplit. Short cycled (in heat mode-not cool) since install. cycling seems to vary up to 10-15x hour. I am starting to wonder if outside Rh/Thermistor calibrations are messed up. 3 separate HVAC companies. First all agree (including Daikin) that it is not oversized. They read temps, go over wiring, etc But there are no fault codes so I get shrugs "no code- no problem"IT IS NOT NORMAL. I have spent $1000 on diagnosing but Daikin will not even directly speak or attempt to help end user. Orignial contractor replaced freon and it didnt help - now will not return call. How do I get this fixed ? If the unit is faulty from the start why should I pay more$$$. Any suggestions would be great. I am thinking small claims but I would prefer to just have a functioning unit.
