Insulation needed on boiler pipes in garage?

We just moved into a house in NJ. The pretty new Peerless oil boiler is in an attached unheated garage. The house is on a slab. My previous NY house had the oil boiler in the basement.
Would it benefit my wallet to put Insulation around any heated pipes by the boiler? Or it doesn't matter as all water is being cooled Though the slab.

    Any pipe that allows transfer of heat to the unheated garage is heat (mostly) wasted. Insulate all exposed piping, and be careful that your unheated garage doesn't get below freezing lest you split pipes.

    Most attached garages with insulated garage doors don't get to freezing because they pick up some heat from the house walls at the attached point.

    Make damn sure that garage stays ABOVE freezing all winter long
