One thermostat sending heat to 2 zones.

Why would one thermostat be controlling both zones in my home? I have one thermostat for downstairs and one for the 2nd floor. The downstairs one is the only one calling for heat but the upstairs is getting hot too.

    Can you post pics of the boiler and connected piping? Not too close.
    It's likely there's a flo valve or zone valve stuck open.

    I am thinking the laws of physics are working here and not ohms law of electrical conflicts. Heat rises. So find the path and get control of it.
