Steel Fin-tube

I'm trying to figure out EDR to size a steam boiler for replacement in an old church. Most of the heat is 2" steel fin tube, and a lot of it. From what I've read, I have more fin tube than the 2" main can handle. Any suggestions or formulas that would help me out. Thank you.

    There is not much Majic here. If you know the EDR is correct for that fin tube there is no harm done except that the end of the fin tube will not see steam sometimes.

    As long as the 2" main doesn't hammer or bang from being undersized you will be ok

    as far as the boiler size goes what is the difference between the edr the 2" main can carry and how much edr is attached??

    If we are talking 10-20% over I would include the edr in the boiler calculation. If more than that you may have to rethink maybe splitting off some radiation and running an additional main

    I presume two pipe? Size boiler for main.
