    I did not know that they manufactured "Majors". I thought they were promoted from "Captain"

    I think it is a 4" Viega press fitting.

    I agree with @hot_rod. looks like 4" P press to me. Probably worth over $200 by now haven't bought any in a few years and don't want to.

    We use them all the time. I agree they are not cheap, but neither is the labor required for soldering a four inch copper tee (plus the solder, flux, acetylene, sand cloth, etc.)

    That makes sense, but I thought those teeth made it non-removable.

    @Alan (California Radiant) Forbes I assume your referring to the Viega Pro Press tee. Yes the shiny "grippers" can make it difficult to get a piece of tubing out of the fitting, but not impossible. Also, we are careful to remove any burrs on the end of the tubing.

    As I recall the 4" PP fit sloppy, and nothing grabs until you pinch it. Unless my memory is shot

    I don't think its a Viega as they put a green dots on there fittings. Could be Apollo propress. this is all we do, its just to fast not to use and pretty much seals every time.
