Hydrolevel 3250 on propane?

Anyone see any issues using the hydrolevel 3250 hydrostat with a propane burner rather than oil?

Maybe, if you don't wire it correctly. What kind of propane burner? Conversion, Carlin/Beckett?

The fuel in the burner should make absolutely no difference at all.

The 3250 is mostly all line voltage, so you don't want to send 120v to a component looking for 24v.

    Can't find the make.  It's on a 12 year old biasi b10.  It has a Honeywell S89F.

You can use it but you must know what you using for a burner. Is it a power burner that requires 110V to operate? ...Then Yes just connect the burner to B1 & B2

If you are are just powering up a gas valve and control Like the S89F then you need to power a 24V transformer on B1 and B2 then power the gas control with the transformer.

If there is already a transformer there, then you just need a relay with a set of normally open contacts with a 110V. coil. Power the coil with B1 and B2 and use the N/O contacts to make the burner circuit operate

Is the burner existing? Does the burner have a cover with a wiring diagram? That boiler was made to be an oil boiler. So I believe that the burner you have is some brand of conversion burner. If so... most conversion burners are powered by 110V. and have an internal 110 to 24 volt transformer in the control wiring for the gas valve.

Do you have a picture of the burner that you can post?

What control are you replacing? Are you changing anything else at this time? ... like, removing an oil burner and installing a gas burner?

Looks like 120 entering the unit.

I bet that's a HeatWise burner. Can you post a pic of the burner itself?

You're right, it is a Heatwise burner.
I'd missed it with the label nearly facing the floor.
