Replacing two existing connected baseboard heaters with wall thermostat by two wall heaters

Can I keep my existing wall thermostat and simply disconnect the baseboards and replace them with wall heaters, same watts 2000/1500 for both current baseboards and new wall heaters (Stelpro Pulsair 2000/1500 watts)?

    No reason not to -- but do yourself a favour and follow the electrical codes when you do it.

    Jamie, thank you for your prompt reply. Will do. As mentioned, I currently have the two baseboards running on 220v and connected to a digital wall thermostat. Seems pretty straight forward to simply replace baseboards by either recessed or surface mounted wall heater with same wattage (2000/1500). Thanks again for your help.
