I am looking for a replacement gas valve. The elecro-magnet no longer works. Im not versed in boilers but have some plumbing knowledge. I live in the northeast and its getting to be that time of year. Can anyone point me in the correct direction

Manufactured gas?
It can be replaced with a modern combination valve but it needs to be adjusted by someone who knows how to do combustion analysis.0 -
Are you sure the coil is bad? is it a 24vac system or a millivolt system? if millivolt are you sure the thermopile isn't just worn out?0
