Buderus propane boiler shutting off randomly

in Gas Heating
Buderus propane boiler shutting off randomly weeks apart at a time. I then hit flume temperature reset button then starts up again no problem. Gas company switched out sensor, adjusted temp setting on boiler to 180, still having problem. Chimney is clear of debris. Flume is open when running. Just hate to call company out for third time and still not have it fixed looking for any suggestions?

    Has anyone done a thorough combustion and draught test?

    Have you ever caught it in the act? Possible momentary drop in gas pressure?

    Is there enough combustion air available?
    Tight room?
    Water heater in the room?
    Clothes dryer or exhaust fan sucking air out of room?

    I have not done a combustion test as of yet. The boiler is in a large open space with a water heater and dryer in same room/general area. As far as a short chimney, if it was too short would that cause a decrease in the draft and cause to overheat and flip temperature sensor? Thanks for all the suggestions and help!

    Ah... yes a shorter chimney could reduce the draught, but that's adjustable.

    You really won't have any idea at all until you do a full scale, comprehensive combustion test and adjustment.

    Yes. Short is little draft, tall is lots of draft
