Tekmar help!

Options
New tekmar 563 thermostat I just cannot get to turn on. I don’t understand what I am wiring wrong if someone is familiar with Tekmar’s products.  I have a 1 stage heating system (baseboard heat) rh1 and w1 go to TT on aquastat and C- on the thermostat goes to a 24v common on a switching relay

Is your common coming off the same transformer as the RH1?
It looks like you need a jumper from RH1 to R. "J1"

@Zman. No the common comes off a separate transformer. I have the J1 jumper set to on. Do you mean physically wiring R to Rh1 with a piece of wire?

Using a common from another source is your issue.
You need to either pull your common off the same transformer as Rh or remove the jumper on J1 and bring an "R" (hot) from the switching relay.

Good day, Mike Breault from tekmar here,

as mentioned by others if your C is from a seperate transformer, then run the R from that transformer to power the 563 face, and move the Jumper to off to isolate the relay RH1-W
