I was wondering if someone can advise me on buying peerless or slant fin natural gas boiler

They're both good. However... either one would have to sized properly to the load (the procedure is different for steam vs. water) and either one would have to installed by a really competent person, and then properly adjusted. And maintained.
Boilers are not plug and play, and you can't assume that the existing one is the correct size...Br. Jamie, osb
