Got a coleman oil furnace im trying to fix and its not lighting. Watched some youtube vids and figured id test the spark. This is what I got. Seems pretty weak compared to all the videos I have seen.

I am looking for a replacement and think I can replace it with an Allanson2721-647 but want to double check.

All the cross reference I seen points me to it and seems to be widely available for a reasonable price.

Thoughts?

Thoughts? Yes. Call a pro. After you put a new ignitor on there and it doesn’t work, which part are you going to replace next.
Oil burners need to a competent tech with proper tools and training to troubleshoot.
    Not YouTube.

You can have a competent contractor install a new furnace and throw your unneeded $50 my way. Win win for everyone. 😁

If that's true why did you wait until February too look for a replacement? It not just swap out like for like. How has the performance been, temperature issues room to room, repair history all need to be looked at and determinations made what can be done to remedy those.
In the end what caused the final failure and how to prevent it in the future.

There are lots of things that can prevent ignition. some of theme are hidden. Could be a weak transformer, cracked insulators burned down or poorly adjusted electrodes carboned turbulator blocked up or incorrect nozzle wrong air setting not to mention pump function coupling and motor issues. With that burner and it's age that's where I'd start. Can't hurt to start with the transformer.

Yes that spark is weak, but I doubt it is the problem. If the burner is set up cleanly, that spark will light it, barely, but will. My guess is you need a tech in there to go through the entire burner, as most likely it needs some serious maintenance.
