What air temps should I be getting on heat cycle,( outside air 25 deg,) out of plenum. I get about 90 deg

The manuals get into the engineering and temp rise numbers but 90 is a good average Heat Pump air temp. Mentioning the room temp helps the opinions too

thank you, I was just wondering if I was in range

25-30f temp rise is about right for any heat pump at nominal conditions.

This is a geothermal unit, outside air temp is irrelevant. Entering water temp and delta T are what matters.  Then you can check approach temps if needed.

ah yes getting more technical Moto. Presumably, colder outdoor temps would also cool off the loop though; have an affect on air temp (we don’t know if it’s open or closed loop)

Cooler temps might cool a slinky horizontal loop a little.  But a normal horizontal bored loop is too deep a vertical is way too deep.   Ground
conduction and total heat loss and gain vs installed ground loop capacity will determine how much it swings.
