    Nope- late 19th-early 20th century pipe coil. They don't make 'em like that anymore..................

    It's hot-water. You can see the bleeder on top of the upper manifold.

    Yes, my bad. Only seen pictures of steam pipe rads.
    Do you think this would have worked in a gravity flow system?

    Of course- having all those pipes in parallel kept the resistance down. Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, that system is definitely converted gravity.
