radiator sizing

another issue. Existing leaking rad is 6 tube by 5 section; standing 36" tall. No one makes that configuration. OCS, if buying new, indicating must go with a 6 tube 6 section but at 25" . Gentleman claims it won't heat room. Unit currently in corner, , 12 x 12 room- Uncertain what options could consider now?

Your existing radiator has an EDR of about 6 per section for a total of 30.
The 6 tube, 25 inch is going to have an EDR of 4 per section for a total of 24.
How does the existing radiator heat the room now? Just right? Too hot, too cold?0 -

I'm able to find a refurbished 5 tube 5 section for $600... is this good, size wise?0
