Almost time to replace 2 Bradford White Combis

These 2 units are reaching age 22 and I need replacement suggestions. There are 2 units because there are 2 radiant zones in this 30 x 60 single story house, concrete slab on grade. Each one, as you know, also serves a portion of the domestic hot water. (#1: Kitchen and master bath with large tub. #2 is for the Laundry and bathroom, plus half bath.) These units are located at opposite ends of the house. Any ideas?

I’ve been told the combos are still available, possibly a special order.

They are Legionella breeding machines and that type of setup has been outlawed in many places.

There are some good "combis" on the market now that separate the hydronic from the domestic. Lochinvar Noble appears to be a good one. HTP UFTC is another.

Look like a CombiCor tank with a double wall coil inside for radiant Really should not be a legionella issue

Looks like standard top connected tanks to me. The lines are Tee'd above the heaters going to the radiant.

Also has iron pumps which shouldn't be used on an open system.

Looks like 4 connections on the top? T&P in the side.

The early CombiCors had the space heating out the top as well. I see four pipes off the top of that if I'm seeing it correctly.

You're right. I guess that's what happens when an old man doesn't use his glasses?
