Hi,
I have a Navien NB-150 condensing boiler. The boiler vent collars have a tiny gap between the collar and the boiler. First should this be sealed? I am thinking yes. If so, any recommended material to seal the gap. Thanks in advance.

Open it up and look inside. Are there solid pipes passing thru the collars? The gas may be only on the flange and not the actual pipe itself.0

You are correct and thanks! Pipes inside the boiler goes up and past the collars into the external pipes.0
