New steam

Today I started up my steam install 300,000 btu, it was a union steam from local supplier, from the factory the transfor was bad, then it had a relay on bottom of the transformer that keeper the thermostat closed. It took about 40 minutes on hold and about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem.
What a pain in the butt.

    If only the manufacturers would put small tell-tale leds on all the electrical components of a system, it would be so much easier to diagnose a problem like that, for the nontechnical homeowner, or even one of the sisters in the Kansas City convent!—NBC
