Residential Water Tube Boilers

I have absolutely nothing against these boilers. If you pipe them right and provide the necessary flow, they work great.

But I was wondering if anyone knew if any manufacturers considered going with a tube coil that’s larger?

I assume the downside to that would be less heat transfer? Larger boilers?

I know there are a handful of other water tube designs out there. here is a Viessmann and I think ECR style. Sermeta in the center.

HTP is using a new version of the Gianoni HX with larger passages. 400K to 2 million BTU.
