Residential Water Tube Boilers

I have absolutely nothing against these boilers. If you pipe them right and provide the necessary flow, they work great.
But I was wondering if anyone knew if any manufacturers considered going with a tube coil that’s larger?
I assume the downside to that would be less heat transfer? Larger boilers?
