In the market for a gnarly work truck?

2017 Mitsubishi turbo diesel, 6 speed auto, 14,250 GVW will haul 6000 lbs, 12' wood flat bed, with sleeper cab, built for the dogs actually :) 15 mpg
It has around 5,000 miles, 3 year 36,000 factory warranty.

I bought it for a RV project, discovered it is not an ideal long distance highway truck, needs to be a local area, all terrain, snow country worker.

PM if interested

Is that a powered hoist on the back?

We had a 16' like that and it was a real nice truck. But the guy that ordered it cheaped out on the seats no air ride, no springs.

A few hours on the highway and my back was done, your sitting on top of the front wheels

You could try posting it over at Expedition Portal. There are few guys modding those.

Turning them into Earthcruiser type RVs etc

Yeah, thanks Mike, I have been hanging on that site. I got a lot of great build ideas for the camper part of the truck from the folks there.

That's pretty disappointing fuel economy...I thought those did a lot better. The 2.8 turbo diesel in our 2017 Chevy does about 19 to 20 city carrying about 2500 lbs cargo and about 30 to 33 highway carrying the same weight. GVWR is about the sameas yours for towing, but you can carry a lot more weight on board. I'm guessing that may be 15 mpg city fully loaded?

5:73 axle ratio, 12,000lbs, and pushing the equivalent of two 4X8 sheets of plywood with that 8’ tall cab. A lot of wind drag below with all the exposed 4wd paraphernalia
I think it is biased more for off road work

Yep, that would do it...You've got just about everything working against you if you want good mileage. Just imagine if it was a gasser.... yikes!
