Commercial Radiant

Brian and his crew started this commercial radiant project today. He is installing radiant floor heat in two levels of this healthcare facility going up about halfway between DC and Baltimore.

We have had heavy rain the past three days so the site was a giant mud hole. But concrete waits for no one so we slogged through the mud to get two zones roughed in today.

  • I like the insulation to prevent overheating, although I'm sure the cat is pissed.

    Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

    I'd be watching it like a hawk when they poured the concrete (I assume you were there).

    We pressurize to 100 PSI and monitor the concrete pour. I learned the hard way what happens when you don’t.
