Hi..A few of my Gordon Radiator Vents (One Pipe Steam) get clogged with Water so heat on it is almost nothing,so I have to take vents off and shake water out for Radiator to work properly again.
I think this did not happen before with our Oil Burning WM Steam monstrosity previous to this pair of Gas Steam Smith Boilers put in 4-5 years ago..They were installed by a good man using a whole lot of those large Gordon Main Vents in the basement.
Why is this water build up in Radiator vents? Thank You.

More info and some pics of the system and boiler would help.
The first thing that I would check is your radiator valves. Make sure they are open all the way.
Second, check the setting of the pressuretrol. It should cut in @ .5 psi and cut out @ 1.5 psi. If it's set correctly, check the pigtail that it's connected to; it could be clogged and need cleaning.Bob Boan

Are the radiators pitched towards the supply valves?
What is the system pressure?
either could be a problem, along with wet steam. Can we see pictures of the piping over the boiler?0
