Hartford loop ?

Options
Hi,I have a steam / No.2 oil heating system, there are 17 radiators in the house (5 on the 3rd floor-5 on the 2nd and 7 on the 1st.) All are 1 pipe except for 2 radiators on the first floor, which are 2 pipe and one of those a is a baseboard?
Is this normal also how can I tell if it is a Hartford loop? Thanks for any help, Rob

The hartford loop is just a small section of riser pipe about a couple feet tall next to the boiler on the return line that prevents a return line leak from draining your boiler into the basement.

Is that what you are asking about, or maybe a different thing?
