Raditor Pitched Too Much?

In a one pipe steam system, can a radiator actually have too much of a pitch to it? If so, what could be some of the consequences that result from this?

    No, I don't think it can. Think of a floor to ceiling radiant pipe with a vent on top of it. That works with a 90 degree pitch.

    Edit to say: as long as the supply line isn't physically damaged by the angle.

    Beyond a typical pitch of 1/4" to 1/2" it becomes an issue of esthetics . Who wants a radiator in a room pitched so much that it makes everything else look crooked?
