I am replacing a No 1 Series Heat Extractor, oil-fired boiler made by National Radiator Company. It doesn't have BTU input or output ratings, only "sq. ft. water" ratings. Do these convert into BTU/hr?

None of that matters. You need to do a proper heat loss (if it’s hot water) or an edr survey (if it’s steam).0

Many if not all of those Heat Extractors had asbestos insulation. You'll need a proper asbestos contractor to deal with this. All Steamed Up, Inc.
