9 years in a Triangle Tube PE110 Natural Gas boiler. This boiler does heating and domestic hot water with a built in 10 gallon SS IDWH.
This igniter lasted a long time.

Was it still lighting ? Or is that why you were there?
Hopefully the new one will last as long as the old

It was on a hard lock out and when it fired you could hear a little boom as to much gas before it would light.0

I just had the same problem with an 8-year old TT Prestige Solo 110 in Berkeley. Most of the time, the boiler wouldn't light, but when it did, it did a mini-explosion.
The igniter looked exactly like yours; deformed and too large of a gap. New igniter fixed the problem.8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour
