HANGING A 60K BTU OUTDOOR CONDENSER

has anyone installed a 2-8 units 60k BTU outdoor condenser to the wall stud outdoors? wanted some feedback. I'm installing an LG unit and due to the weather in Northeast, I would like it off the ground to avoid any problems with snow covering it

I saw that but the highest height i seen was 12", that said i can see drifting snow adding another 12 to 15 easily.

They do make brackets/platform that mount to exterior walls that allow the units to be hung. We have several newer construction houses (15 years old) maybe 75 houses in that development) and all of them have the condensers hung off of the walls. They seem to be durable as they are still supporting those units.

i actually have that bracket! i just couldn't find any links or pictures of a 60K BTU hung so I was getting a little nervous.

Have you looked at the weight of the unit and capacity of the wall bracket?

yes, weights 214lbs. the bracket i have is 300lbs max. I'm going to go ahead and mount it on the studs from outside.
