Single drop header

I started a job last week, I installed a single drop header, not done yet, I am at the point of the heart Ford loop , threr are two returns, one is an 1-1/4 other is 1 inch. On the one inch I’m going to put the boiler feed to fill the boiler. Don’t trash me to bad.

Well I’ll assume you posted here to learn so, first off, it’s Hartford loop, as in Hartford insurance company. But more important than semantics, you reduced the header on the horizontal. Don’t tell me it has enough pitch either

good catch, should I point the reducing elbow on a 45 degree and then instead of the 1 1/2 elbow I can use a 45.0

Thanks guys, when I tell my supply houses that I want to do drop header there always telling me its your money for extra fittings. It all looked good when I left last night.0
