Running boiler with only 1st floor hooked up (Steam heat)

Is it ok to run boiler with only 1st floor radiators hooked up? Radiators for rest of house haven't arrived yet. Want to take chill out of house. Rest of systems has valves that are shut off

If you have old valves on the second floor you may find out which ones do not shut off 100%.
The boiler will probably short cycle on the pressure control, a lot if you do not have enough main steam line venting.
But you should get some heat to get you thru.

Great! Thanks so much. Just didn't want to jeopardize anything
