Munchkin MC-80LP

in THE MAIN WALL
I have a 7 year old Munchkin heater (MC-80LP) that is having issues. The repair man mentioned that the company went out of business and he might not be able to find parts, and seems reluctant to make repairs. Is this true? I'm getting a 2nd opinion, but this my first time having issues and don't want to replace the unit so soon. Thanks!

    He is mistaken.
    HTP is still around and doing fine.
    What are you having for issues?

    When was the last time you had the boiler cleaned and serviced ACCORDING to the MANUAL? The emphasis is intentional because it is essential that it be done by the book or there will be problems. Most service "techs" don't know, or care to know, what the proper procedure is.
