we have a job in which we are installing new zone valves in a house that has five zones of copper baseboard hot water heat, and one zone of in floor heating with pex tubing. My question had to do with once we are done getting the air out of the pex side of the system. I normally install an isolation valve, and boiler drain on each zone, hook city water pressure to the boiler's drain valve, close the isolation valve, and open up the boiler drain and get rid of the air that way. Is this procedure good for the pex side as well or is there another way to go about it? Any assistance would be much appreciated. thanks to all
