And Dan replied "OMG I'm never going to wash this hand again!!!!"DanHolohan said:He said, "Thank you very much for watching my car. " I was working Security at Nassau Coliseum.
What kind of car was it Dan?Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment0 -
It was a white, stretch limo. I was right in front of the stage for nearly the whole concert. The boss moved me to the ramp where the Zamboni is before the last song. His lady was in the stretch. He came running at me. I opened the door for him. He stopped and said that and then he shook my hand.
The limo raced up the ramp and out of the building and I stood there, all alone, staring at my hand. July 19, 1975.Retired and loving it.3 -

Not while I was working there. I was there from 1973-1980. Here's a list of the shows I worked: http://rocktourdatabase.com/venues/nassau-veterans-memorial-coliseum
I started with Led Zep on 6/14/72, and finished with The Jacksons on 11/06/79. There were some others that are not on that list. John Denver sticks out in my memory. After the show, they had me in a lounge with him and Peter, Paul & Mary for about three hours. I was the fly on the wall.
I worked the locker room at the Foreman/Fraiser fight. My instructions were to let NO ONE in the locker room after it was over. That night, I turned away Elliot Gould, Donald Sutherland, Ruben Hurricane Carter, Don King, Leroy Neiman, and Elizabeth Taylor. I also got to meet the fighters. George Foreman wasn't selling grills that night.Retired and loving it.5 -
