I recently was down in Savanah, GA...I noticed that they allow gas piping to be installed w/ sweat/ soldered fittings.
I also have seen this done over in the UK....
How can this be?
Seems like so many issues could happen.
Being from New England this would never fly...
Why is it Ok there?

Silfos is allowed. Never seen soft solder - at least not legally.Bob Boan

You're allowed to braze gas pipe?
Can it be soft tubing?Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.
