Buderus 2109 again...

From time to time I see a post here about needed a replacement for a HS2109 boiler control.
Now I have an issue w/ the one and only one if these I have ever installed.
I must say I am quite dissappointed has no direct replacement for this other than the 2107.

IF you use the 2107 do you need to use the outdoor reset feature?
Getting a sensor through to the outside on this building is a difficult undertaking and is not needed.

Thanks. kcopp

Why spend the money on a 2107 and not use the ODR? Just use a 7224, Aquasmart or Hydrostat.

    Thanks..
    Faster cleaner change out.
    Lot less to Rewire.
No purging the entire system....its a big complex system.

It will work without outdoor sensor to answer your question.

Regardless, you need to change the well. If Hydrostat, use their well if you want LWCO protection.

    >>then use any 3/4" brass well. Not sure, but you might need a long well to rise above Buderus Jacket.
