T-stat replacement

in Oil Heating
Daughter's home has old Honeywell heat/cool t-stat for her single pipe system. Thinking of replacing it with
either White Rodgers 1E30N=910 heat only single stage mechanical one or a Robert Shaw 200-502. Any thoughts?

    Not familiar with either of those tstats. Are the WiFi?
    Whichever you choose, make sure it has a heat anticipator for steam. I prefer the Honeywell Pro9000.

    Not WiFi, both have anticipator. Not programmable either.

    Why is she replacing it? Either one which you have mentioned should work, but... those old Honeywells are pretty darn close to bulletproof, and nothing in the later ones is. I don't see the point.

    You're right, it's the old rectangular with mercury. A rare bird these days. It's staying-put!
