Improvements to website

I wonder if this website could be set up to recognize various terms which might be confusing to newbies here?
Examples would be "overfilling", LWCO, etc. these words and acronyms could be highlighted, for instant access to a definition, or more.--NBC

You can add abbreviations yourself, with the tags:
    • <abbr title="works like this">like this</abbr>

Two terms that have confused discussions are "Vents" and "Valves".
Some posters say they changed the valve when they meant vent.
Dictionary or definitions for commonly misunderstood terms and phrases etc.
In the list could be "Vents" Valves" "Boiler verses Furnace" "Water verses Steam" etc.........words could be added as the need becomes obvious.

as often as it's called out,
I was thinking the "Find a Contractor" button should also be on these forum pages, not only back there on the home page.

@neilc, you're right. We're tight on space on the navigation bar here, but I'll see what I can do.

I've added a link to the top of the discussions (in the blue bar above).

One thing I would like to see, and I have seen it on most other sites, is in the list of threads, there will be an indicator (i.e check mark, arrow) that tells me when I'm logged in that I have responded to a particular thread.
I understand the methods available (i.e bookmarking, or checking under my profile), but it makes it easier to look at the thread list on the Main Wall and at a glance see threads I have responded to quickly.
A lot less clicking into threads that continue for a long time. I do understand that's better for me, but more clicks on a website probably helps with advertising $$$.
