Hi gang. I'm in the market for a measuring device. I have a few projects coming up here and my life would be a bit easier if I could measure things alone. So any suggestions on a laser measuring device? things to avoid? Things to look for?
My uses would include pipe lengths in dark and dirty places. Wall lengths fancy clean spaces and distance measurements out doors. Probably nothing more than 300'. I see a lot to choose from on the interweb so that's why I'm here bugging you guys;)

I thought I was the last guy not to go digital. I have the Bosch GLM 100C. I've had cheapies in the past and finally got a good one1

Bosch is great for interior spaces. I was a little disappointed with the performance in bright outdoor light."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"
