Hello, anyone know of a Universal control for the Weil Mclain: M# EG1PEG-35, Series 4? We ordered the OEM part Thursday from a larger regional vendor and they shipped it to Maine (and yes we got a part that was supposed to go to some contractor in Maine). UPS shows up Friday with the wrong part.

Thanks, Gary

    Honeywell S8620C1003

(edit) I see it's discontinued. According to the S8610U3009 it'll replace it with sw1 off and sw2 on

Sorry.. jumped the gun... I just noticed you said Series 4.

What is the part number on the one that is on the boiler now? That way I can cross reference it.

    I think mine is a series 4?
    It's from 2011.

I'm not sure if this is the exact number, but it's a United Technologies for sure and this claims it's for an EG series.

@ChrisJ , iirc, that's the ignition control in the series 5. The series 4 used a Weil Mclain 1135-605 which was discontinued.

Looks like supplyhouse carries the direct replacement:

Boiler controls are much less likely to have Universal replacements. Furnaces are much more likely.

Thanks for the help everyone, my guy chucked the old control into our dumpster, I just took a look and see (jumped right in!) and I can't find it. If this is indeed some Weil McClain only part, I'm not so interested in stocking the thing. I can see 90 plus boilers having their own propitiatory stuff, but for a dumb chim venter it seems nutty!

    I doubt it is.
At least on mine it's a UT part with a WM part number.
What I got from the manual was before UT, they were using Honeywell.
