Can anyone ID this main air vent on a residential (two story) LP steam system?
Can you please fill me in on who makes/made it and some theory behind its design?
It seems to have what looks like two air valves attached to a common header that screws into the fitting on main.
Sorry, I cant get any closer for a better picture due to massive amounts of clutter.

    Looks to me -- and it's kind of hard to see -- like an early version of the antler/menorah design we use all the time to get more venting in a specific location. Without a close picture of those vents, though, it would be hopeless to figure out which make and model they are, never mind whether they are still working.

    I'm certain that's a special vacuum vent made by Illinois Engineering Co. It was designed to hold vacuum down to a certain point, then break the vacuum if it got too deep. Not sure what the model name was but I know it's in one of my old ASHVE Guides- I'll look it up when I get a chance.
