plumbing contractors websites

From past experience I do remember that the USA plumbing and HVAC scene is always keeping a close eye on what's happening in Europe. Getting a professional website organised and keeping it going is a pain in the backside sometimes, specifically for the smaller plumbing and HVAC contractors. Their focus is on getting the job done all the time and anything else seems to be ballast, isn't it?
A recent development here is a company that is specialised in developing websites for these guys. A very simple concept, very much standarised but tailored to individual requirements and the clients own housestyle (if any). With a choice of 2 different versions and then both with another 4 - 6 options for extension. And a selection for various response- and maintenance activities as well. All at a very reasonable pricing.
My question now is if such a development could be of interest for the (smaller) USA companies as well.

Yeah there's hardly any companies in the US that do web design for small companies. If you Google 'American web design companies' you only get about 47,700,000 hits.

Thanks for your responses so far, albeit it doesn't bring me that far, so far.
@Danny Scully: I do apologise for my z's but please realize (with z) that I am from NL (the Netherlands, also called Holland), that is - for those that don't know - a Mickey Mouse nation in Europe and our language here is Dutch. Not to be mixed up with Deutsch (German) who are our neighbours. Our NL language does not bring us too far on this planet as there is only some 20 mio -or so- people worldwide that do understand. So all that we Dutch are aiming at all the time is just trying to make ourselves understandable in a language that is not - repeat not ! - our mother tongue. And if you don't like my z's, I am inviting you to respond to me in Dutch. That will be good for a laugh on this forum I guess................
@JUGHNE: I am a pensioner now but in my business life I have travelled the world and please believe me that people are different. I have fully enjoyed participating in plumbing- and HVAC-shows (and visited those) from NYC to Shanghai and from Oslo to Sydney but people are different and so is the business. Hence my posting on this wall. Still doing a lot of international travelling by the way. And enjoying it to the max.
@STEVEusaPA: of course I do know there is plenty. But with focus on webdesign for small (!!) plumbing & HVAC contractors there may be not be too many. Hence my posting on this wall.
@Dan Holohan : your opinion on the idea? Out of all above 4 guys my rating of your opinion should be at the top as to me you are the plumbing- & HVAC-communications expert.

Thank for sharing your opinions anyhow and for 'keeping in touch with the Dutch'

    our language here is Dutch.

Which owes a lot to Frisian, from which a good bit of English originated.

Don't know that I would hire a foreign company to build a website.

Thanks once more for sharing your opinions and for 'keeping in touch with the Dutch'.
@Dan Holohan you are right but the problem is that the smaller contractor doesn't have the time to even read the 6 questions. Or he thinks he doesn't have the time. So no time to think about a reply either. All he knows is that his competitor tells his about how succesful his new website is and his kids tell him that he does need a website but he doesn't have a clue on where to start. And all of a sudden here is this gift from heaven (at a small price): a guy that knows precisely what his website needs are as he has specialist expertise in building websites for the smaller plumbing and HVAC contractors.
@Danny Scully message understood? You and your friend google translate can communicate in any language obviously :D
@Robert O'Brien not a good idea indeed to hire a foreign company for building a website. The idea is that the foreign company is just exporting the idea and then partnering up in the USA. Optionally 1 or 2 States to start with.

Any more thoughts? Thanking you in advance - Theo
