    Boiler room in an apartment building in Oakland. The old boiler is long gone and an A.O.Smith Burkay sits in its place.

    I'm sure the Modutrol isn't hooked up anymore since the Modutrol motors are gone. It looks as though there's two spaces for vacuum tubes and those two dials are geared together; you move one and the other one moves.

    Right- they were still using vacuum tubes then. Some of the original Honeywell and (I believe) Fireye flame safeguard controls did too.

    See if they'll llet you salvage it.
